You can download the list of foods,
medications and toiletries in Australia that contain the six nasty colours that
are the focus of the Kids First Campaign
The
artificial colours listed (102, 104, 110, 122, 124, 129) can increase
children’s activity levels and/or inattention, leading to educational
difficulties. To protect children, these are currently being phased
out of foods in the UK and the European Parliament has ruled that any product
containing these colours from 21st June 2010 must have a warning:
“may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.”
Meanwhile
Australian children are still being exposed to them in the products listed.
